About The Founder

Gagandeep Kaur, a Delhi-born fashion enthusiast and national-level Taekwondo athlete, blends strength with elegance. Raised between Punjab’s traditions and Delhi’s cosmopolitan energy, she combines cultural roots with a modern outlook. Married into a Gursikh family in Ghaziabad, Gagandeep’s passion for designing Indian and Indo-Western outfits inspired her to create Nanaki. Her vision is to celebrate traditional craftsmanship through bold, experimental styles on premium modern silhouettes, fostering a community that values culture and contemporary fashion.

The Story Behind House Of Nanaki

At House of Nanaki, our founder’s journey began as a personal mission to create clothing that was not only unique but also meaningful. For her, fashion has always been an expression of self, and a bridge to our cultural roots.

From young age, Gagandeep curated one-of-a-kind outfits at local boutiques , infusing every piece with her personal design inputs. Unknowingly, she was already weaving her own path in the world of fashion.

In 2024, encouraged by her husband, Gagandeep began exploring personal styling as a freelancer. A chance meeting with an old friend led to a collaboration on jewellery startup. Despite challenges, her passion for creativity and learning was unstoppable. Supported by family and friends and a pivotal conversation with her best friend, who deeply believed in her abilities, became the final nudge she needed. In that moment, everything aligned – the leap into entrepreneurship was inevitable. And within minutes, she had a vision and a name that resonated with her soul.

The name “Nanaki” was born naturally, a tribute to Phulkari, an ancient handicraft from the Punjab region. Nanaki symbolizes beauty, heritage, and a profound connection to culture. It was in that defining moment, with clarity and confidence, that House of Nanaki came to life.
